Target Audience
The intended target audience for this program is vitreoretinal specialists, members in fellowship training and general ophthalmologists who are engaged in the diagnosis and treatment of vitreoretinal diseases.

Goal
To provide attendees with a comprehensive update on the diagnosis and management of vitreoretinal diseases and to provide insight into new therapeutic options for treatment of a variety of disorders.

Program Objectives
This meeting will enable attendees to:

• Review the management of atrophic age-related macular degeneration, neovascular age-related macular degeneration and other forms of choroidal neovascularization;
• Investigate the current management of venous occlusive disease and diabetic retinopathy;
• Review emerging developments in retinal imaging;
• Investigate new vitreoretinal surgical techniques and instrumentation;
• Present new developments in hereditary retinal degenerations, pediatric retinal diseases and uveitis;
• Present new concepts in the treatment of ocular neoplasia.

The American Academy of Ophthalmology is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
