Target Audience
The intended target audience for this program is pediatric ophthalmologists, comprehensive ophthalmologists, medical professionals, visual physiologists and orthoptists who are involved in maintaining a high quality of health care for the pediatric and strabismus populations.

Goal
To provide attendees with a comprehensive update on the diagnosis and management of pediatric ophthalmic diseases and to provide insight into new therapeutic options for treatment of a variety of strabismic disorders.
Program Objectives
This meeting will enable attendees to:
- Recognize the advantages and limitations of photoscreening as a tool for vision screening and evaluate recent research on the treatment of amblyopia in children;
- Present recommended guidelines for the prism and surgical management of adult strabismus, including strabismus in the setting of thyroid eye disease;
- Explore new developments in the treatment of childhood cataracts;
- Categorize and manage serious pediatric retinal diseases.
