Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site
Don’t miss the opportunity to visit the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. national historic site and Sweet Auburn district. The whole site is self-guided except his birth home; the free tour tickets go fast, so make sure you arrive early. While you wait for your assigned tour time, stop by the Visitors Center, which tells the story of the Civil Rights Movement, and historic Ebenezer Baptist Church, where King was co-pastor with his father. Visit the King Center, where Dr. King’s Nobel Peace Prize is displayed, and where his and Coretta Scott King’s gravesite is located.

• "From the Silk Road to Route 66: The Journey of Three Sisters" —  Sisters Hong, Bo and Ling Zhang exhibit art based on their journeys as Chinese women adapting to American culture. Through Nov. 6 at the Spruill Center Gallery and Historic Home.
• "Martinis and IMAX" — Enjoy cool cocktails, stunning films, live music and creative cuisine beneath the world's largest dinosaurs. Ongoing, Friday evenings at the Fernbank Museum of Natural History.
• "Seeking Justice: The Leo Frank Case Revisited" — Chronicles the arrest, trial, conviction, commutation and lynching of Leo Frank for the murder of Mary Phagan in 1913. Ongoing at the William Breman Jewish Heritage Museum.
• "The First Emperor: China's Terracotta Army" — The largest-ever loan of artifacts from China's famed Terracotta Army. No two soldiers are alike. Starts Nov. 16 at the High Museum of Art.
