Annual Meeting and Subspecialty Day: What's New

Joint Meeting Keynote Speaker
Michael T. Osterholm, PhD, MPH, will present the 2008 Joint Meeting keynote address during the Opening Session on Sunday, Nov. 9. Dr. Osterholm is a public health preparedness advocate and adviser to government agencies concerned with bioterrorism. He is a frequent consultant to the World Health Organization, NIH, FDA, Department of Defense and the CDC.

International Travelers
In 2007, 4,183 international physicians and health professionals from 105 countries attended the Annual Meeting. International attendees are encouraged to review U.S. entry and visa requirements soon to avoid unnecessary delays.
