Jean E. Ramsey, MD

Dr. Ramsey currently serves on the Academy's Board of Trustees as Council vice chair. Among the many positions Dr. Ramsey has held with the Academy are: member of the Academy Strategic Assessment Planning Task Force, Committee for State Organizational Development and Patient Education Committee.

Dr. Ramsey received her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine and did her ophthalmology residency and pediatric fellowship at New England Medical Center Hospital. She specializes in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus, adult strabismus and ocular problems in the developmentally delayed.

Currently, Dr. Ramsey is the director of pediatric ophthalmology service at Boston University Eye Associates Inc.
