Synopsis: The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 provides for financial incentives for use of health information technology. This is in addition to existing bonus payments for electronic-prescribing and quality measure reporting. This session will explain what incentives are available to physicians, and how to implement technologies, e-prescribing and electronic health records, and the importance of interoperability standards under the stimulus package.
Seating is limited. This is a non-ticketed program, and free to all AAOE members.
